What barcode formats does DropCode+ support?
DropCode+ can read a wide variety of the most commonly used 1D and 2D code formats, including Code 39, Code 128, UPC-E, UPC-A, EAN-8, and QR Code.
Why doesn’t anything happen when I tap the barcode scan button?
Make sure a form field is selected before tapping the scan button. DropCode+ only activates the scanner if an input or text field is currently focused.
Where is the scan data stored?
Nowhere. Scanned data is pasted directly into the web form and not stored, saved, or sent anywhere. DropCode+ is 100% private and local to your device.
Can I use this with my company’s internal tools?
Yes! As long as your internal tool is web-based and accessible in a browser, DropCode+ will work seamlessly.
Does DropCode+ require an internet connection?
Yes, to load web pages. If no connection is detected, the app will notify you with a non-intrusive toast message.
