📱 What is ClaimGuard?
ClaimGuard is a personal home inventory app that helps you:
- Catalog homes, insurance policies, and personal belongings
- Use AI-powered object detection to quickly identify and classify items
- Keep track of expiration dates for policies
- Store essential data in a secure and private environment
ClaimGuard runs entirely on your device with optional iCloud sync and uses OpenAI’s image recognition only when enabled.
🛠️ Getting Started
- Download the app from the App Store.
- Open the app and follow the onboarding process to set up your first home and begin adding items.
You can use ClaimGuard completely for free to track your primary home, an insurance policy, and 20 inventory items. A subscription to ClaimGuard Premium Features allows you to track even more and unlock our powerful AI features.

- Unlimited Homes, Policies & Items
- AI Object Detection Identify items in photos automatically using AI.
- AI Label Scanner Scan manufacturer/model names, serial numbers and more directly from product labels.
Subscriptions are billed annually at $4.99 USD with pricing clearly displayed in the app.
🔒 Privacy & Security
Your privacy is our top priority. ClaimGuard:
- Stores your data securely using Apple’s Core Data and CloudKit. Your data is never shared with the developer.
- Does not collect or sell your data
- Only sends images to OpenAI when you use AI Object Detection or AI Label Scanner.

Q: Is my data backed up?
A: Yes—ClaimGuard uses iCloud to securely store your data and sync it automatically across your devices.
Q: What happens if I unsubscribe?
A: You will retain all existing data, but you will lose access to AI Object Detection and AI Label Scanner, and limits to the number of homes, policies and inventory items you can track will be applied,
Q: How do I restore my subscription?
A: Tap Settings > Restore Purchases within the app.
Q: Can I use ClaimGuard without AI features?
A: Absolutely. All AI features are optional and require a subscription to activate.
