Welcome to ClaimGuard! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the ClaimGuard mobile app (“App”) and all related features, including both free and premium (“Premium Features”) functionality. By downloading, accessing, or using ClaimGuard, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Use of the App
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use ClaimGuard.
- Personal Use: ClaimGuard is intended for your personal, non-commercial use.
- Acceptable Use: Do not misuse the app or use it for any unlawful or prohibited purposes.
2. Free Features
ClaimGuard’s core features are available free of charge, including:
- Creating and storing one home, one insurance policy, and up to 20 inventory items.
- Managing item details, policies, and homes.
- Storing and syncing data via your personal iCloud account.
3. Premium Features
ClaimGuard offers Premium Features as a subscription, which may include:
- AI Object Detection
- AI Label Scanner
- Unlimited creation of Homes, Policies, and Inventory Items
- Access to future premium enhancements
Subscription & Payment
- Subscription Period: ClaimGuard Premium Features are offered as an auto-renewing yearly subscription.
- Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at purchase confirmation.
- Auto-Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Renewal Charges: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period.
- Managing Subscriptions: Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings.
- Data Retention after Cancellation: Homes, Policies and Inventory Items created with a Premium Features subscription remain accessible after the subscription is terminated, until you delete them from the app.
Trials & Offers
- Free trials or introductory offers, if provided, will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription.
4. Data Privacy
- Local Data: All personal and inventory data entered in ClaimGuard remains on your device or is synced to your own iCloud account. The developer does not collect, view, or share your personal data.
- Third-Party Services: Certain features (such as AI Object Detection and AI Label Scanner) process data using trusted third-party services, including OpenAI and Google Firebase. See our Privacy Policy and OpenAI Privacy Policy for more details.
- Contacts: If you choose to save insurance contacts to your device, ClaimGuard will request permission to write contacts but does not access or upload your contact list.
5. User Content
You are responsible for all data and content you enter into ClaimGuard. Do not upload, store, or share unlawful, offensive, or copyrighted materials you do not own.
6. Changes & Termination
- Updates: We may update these Terms or the app at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of new Terms.
- Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the app or Premium Features if you violate these Terms.
7. Disclaimer
ClaimGuard is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do our best to ensure data safety and feature reliability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or absolute data security.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ClaimGuard and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or loss of data.
